Get ready for the 2025 BLOCK PARTY!
Friday, July 4, 2025
Monticello Place
It's almost time for the annual Block Party!!! Ready your running shoes for the Mingleside Mile, prep your egg tossing skills, and have beach towels ready for the inflatable water slides (two again this year!)
Thanks to everyone involved in planning, the party continues to grow! Check out our schedule below and join in classic fun like the Mingleside Mile, slides, games and potluck, or some of our newest activities like the kids' scavenger hunt and afternoon board and card game time. Or, come compete in the knockout or bags tourneys and the evening kickball game!
Signups for the potluck and volunteer roles are HERE - please take a look and sign up today to bring a dish or help throughout the day.
We can't wait to hang out with neighbors new and old, catch up and toast to the best 'hood in town. RSVP, schedule and signups below - contact Liz Adames with any questions and look forward to seeing you there!

RSVP
We're asking everyone to chip in $20 per person. This will cover activities throughout the day, including games, hot dog lunch, slip n slide, popsicles, beverages (incl beer/wine/cocktails) and more. We will do a potluck for dinner!
Please RSVP to Emily at 832 Ingleside with your payment (checks payable to Emily Cavanaugh.) You can Zelle to Emily at 847.521.0057 or Venmo @Emily-Cavanaugh-2. Thanks so much!!
We would love your help to make the day a success! Volunteer and potluck sign-ups are now open - sign up HERE to contribute your time or your food & drink (or both!)
-
Volunteer roles include helping set up or tear down, helping run any of the fun activities planned for the day, or even mixing up cocktails.
-
We need your delicious food: side dishes, meats, veggies, desserts - all the things! Classic family recipes, store-bought goodies, favorites of all kinds are welcome to the table!
We did have an overwhelming amount of food left over last year, so consider bringing enough food for a family of 4-6, rather than 15+ folks as we'd previously requested, and bringing your own containers to take home leftovers at the end of the night. Have a no-cook July 5!
We can’t wait to see you!
